Scatterday L

I have been slack the last few weeks.. I couldn't think of anything for the letters, so I didn't do them, plus the weather has been awful and I didn't feel like travelling by bus further than I absolutely had to. I will try and do better!!

This week was easy, I didn't have to leave home ! The letter is L and the categories are Household Item, Round and Tools.

Household Item: Here we have a ladle and a looking glass. Not as magic as Alice's though.
Round: I have hundreds of round lids but took a picture of only 2.. seen one (or two), seen them all.. also we have loot or loose change - some of which is round!
Tools: I was going to take a picture of the lathe at school but forgot my camera on both days.. which is unusual. So I have a leaf blower. If I could have got the shed open, I would have taken a pic of the lawn mower too..

and the L is made from 2 pairs of scissors.. :)

Scatterday H

OOps, I am late this week.. but I have done my scatterday pictures! Colour, games and pointy things were the subjects so here is my contribution:

Colour: Beautiful Hand-dyed colour.. who knew it could be so much fun!

Games: This is a Hopscotch mat at The Princess' childcare centre

Pointy Things: My Hairbrush has pointy things on it.. it is the only one I can get through my hair!

Now to go find what torture awaits me for next week..!

Today is Scatterday S, with the categories Fruit, Something that makes you Itchy and Gold. I hope I pass this week!

Fruit: Strawberries.. probably like most people will have !

Something that makes you itchy: Sticking plaster.. most brands give me a rash which is very, very, incredibly itchy!

Gold: My gold-handled embroidery scissors.

Scatterday I

Another week, another wierd and wonderful letter... and a week of wondering what on earth I am going to take pictures of! I needed Australian, In The Air and Yellow.. so here are my contributions..
Australian: I found a few Australian Items.. these are actually made in Australia!
In The Air: I know - it just looks like smoke.. but it is definitely an Impurity in our air..
Yellow: I seem to find lots of yellow things! Yellow Interior/Inside of a mug; Yellow Instructions and the Yellow Iris of one of our cats..

Scatterday Z

This was an interesting week... and luckily most of my Z things were already in my home ! I know there are only supposed to be 3, but I couldnt choose so they are all in..
First: Zig zag on the sewing machine
Second: Zippers. I am sure I had lots, but could only find two...
Third: Z key on the keyboard
Fourth: Zucchini
Fifth: Zinc cream for my new grandson's delicate bottom..

Now to go find out what awaits me for next week :)

Scatterday N

This week was easy and hard! Orange was easy! South America was impossible and Something good for you but you dont like was easy!

Something good for you: My Nexium are supposed to be good for me.. but I dont like them because of the side-effects.. Why are side-effects worse than the original complaint?!

South American: I found a lovely notebook from Nepal, then realised Nepal was not in South America! D'oh. So I cheated - Brazil nuts from the internet!!

Orange: I didnt realise there were so many orange things out there.. Navel Oranges, Needles for knitting, Nylon for using with the needles, netball and nail polish..

Roll on next week... wonder what it is.....

Scatterday U

This week I have failed.. there are no pictures and there is nothing to write about.
I don't have a U street close by.
Goodness only knows what cartoon character starts with U.
The only thing I could think of that people paid a lot for that started with U was unleaded petrol!!
I could have had one picture, but I wouldn't have been happy with that.. so there is none..
Hope next week is better..

Scatterday E

Not a good week for me.. so only a small and basic Scatterday this week. This weeks categories are White, Plant World and Terrifying Thing.

White: Just some plain old white envelopes.

Plant World: I don't have any E plants and I didn't feel like travelling anywhere, so I chose an Empty spot where the used to be a beautiful big shady tree. It was very effective in shading The Princess' room in summer. The landlord decided he didn't like it there and cut it down just before summer. Good on him.

Terrifying Thing: This was easy! There is nothing more terrifying than the dentist - especially when he is going to perform an extraction!! I am still trying to get over it.. life is hard sometimes!!!

Scatterday V

This week is V week.. not easy for Kitchen or Office supplies but wonderful for car parts, which are the categories for this week!

In the Kitchen: There is Voltaren in the medicine cupboard in the kitchen. Then there is the usual Vegemite and Vanilla Essence. There didn't seem to be much in the way of vegetables so I just used the vegetable peelers!! Good thing it is shopping this week :)

Car Parts: There are lots of car parts that start with a V.. a V6 engine, a video screen ( it isn't standard issue, but it is a part of my sons car!), a visor, a vacuum hose -with markings!, vehicle emission control label on the VEC thing, valve cap hiding a valve, a V on his number plate and a V6 badge!

Office Supplies: I don't have an office and all the bits of office stuff I do have, not much of it starts with V. I found a DVD with the name on it... and it has the word Video on it too.. I also found a Vintage VHS Video tape.. I guess some offices use DVD's or videos for presentations?
